Double Layer Space-saving Eddy Current Separator Application
Double-layer eddy current separation machinery and equipment has a wide application spectrum.The applications of the eddy current separator extend to metal separation, non-metallic separation, composite material separation, mineral separation, coal separation and environmental protection.
Metal Separation: This is an eddy current separator that can segregate different metals like cu and al; it is applicable to recycling of scrap metals, sorting of metal minerals, waste slag treatment from steel mills, and several other areas.
Non-metallic Sorting: Besides metals, the eddy current separator can sort non-metals like plastic, glass, ceramic, rubber, wood, etc. It is applicable in fields such as garbage sorting and treating, recycling waste electrical appliances, and utilizing renewable resources.
Composite Material Sorting: It can be implemented to sort composite materials like carbon fiber, glass fiber, etc. This helps sort and recycle composite materials which in turn helps resource utilization more efficient.
Environmental Protection Field: The Eddy current separator finds application in environmental protection fields like garbage disposal, waste electrical appliance recycling, and material treatment in non-ferrous metal processing industry. Its main role is the recovery of copper, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals from domestic waste, industrial waste waste, and electronic waste after their proper separation and treatment.
Double Layer Eddy Current Separator Working Principle
The material is sent to the vibrating feeder through a conveyor belt. The vibrating feeder filters the moisture from the material through high-frequency vibration, and generates a forward thrust to push the material evenly into the eddy current separator. When the eddy current separator operates, with the rapid rotation of the magnetic drum, a high frequency alternating strong magnetic field is generated on the surface of the sorting drum, when the non-ferrous metal passes through the magnetic field, an eddy current will be generated inside it, and this eddy current itself will generate a magnetic field opposite to the direction of the original magnetic field, non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminum, etc.) will jump forward along their transport direction due to the repulsive force of the magnetic field, achieving separation from other non-metallic substances and achieving the purpose of sorting.
